Short answerRelevance AI is worth it if someone on your team will build custom AI agents across sales and ops and can forecast usage. It is not a ready-made AI SDR: reviewers report no built-in prospect data, native LinkedIn automation or deliverability tooling. Pro starts at $19 a month billed annually, Team at $234.
Key takeaways
- Relevance AI's docs (checked 2026-10-28) list Pro from $19 a month annual ($29 monthly) with 2,500 Actions, and Team from $234 ($349 monthly) with 7,000 Actions. The Free plan is retired.
- Billing has two meters: Actions for tool runs and Vendor Credits for model usage. Extra Actions cost $80 per 1,000, which is about 10 times Pro's annual per-Action rate.
- G2 shows about 4.3 from roughly 20 reviews. That is a small sample, and nearly every long editorial review of the product is written by a competitor.
- For outbound you still have to bring contacts, warmed mailboxes and a spam rate under 0.1%.
Our verdict. Relevance AI is worth it if you have a technical operator who wants to build custom AI agents, and sales is one of several jobs they'll point them at. It is the wrong buy if you want an AI SDR that finds prospects, warms mailboxes and sends cold email out of the box. We haven't tested Relevance AI ourselves. This review comes from the vendor's pricing docs and product pages (read on 2026-10-28), review-site extracts, and competitor write-ups, which we flag as such.
Who it suits: a solo GTM operator or a small ops team comfortable with logic flows and variables. Who should skip it: a founder who wants meetings booked without building anything, or a team that needs a fixed monthly bill.
What is Relevance AI?
Relevance AI is a no-code platform for building AI agents and teams of agents, which it calls workforces. Its pricing docs list unlimited agents, tools and workforces on every paid plan, 2,000+ app integrations, scheduled tasks, chat mode and escalations by email or Slack (Relevance AI docs).
For sales, the vendor also sells Bosh, an AI BDR agent. Its page promises "Booking meetings 24/7", lists LinkedIn, CRM data, Google search and enrichment services as research sources, and shows no price (Relevance AI: Bosh). It doesn't say whether Bosh waits for human approval before acting. Ask them before you assume either way.
How much does Relevance AI cost?
On 2026-10-28 the vendor's pricing docs listed Pro at $19 a month billed annually ($29 monthly) and Team at $234 a month annual ($349 monthly), with Enterprise on custom pricing. Pro includes 2,500 Actions and $20 of Vendor Credits a month. Team includes 7,000 Actions and $70 of credits. The docs say the Free plan is retired.
| Plan | Price | Actions per month | Vendor Credits per month | Seats |
| Pro | $19 annual / $29 monthly | 2,500 | $20 (10,000 credits) | 2 build users, 1 project |
| Team | $234 annual / $349 monthly | 7,000 | $70 (35,000 credits) | 5 build users, 45 end users, 5 shared projects |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Unlimited; SSO, RBAC, audit logs |
Sources disagree, so check the date on any review. The vendor's separate pricing page, when we fetched it, showed only an Enterprise plan with a "Talk to sales" button. Third-party pages from mid-2026 still list a free tier with 200 Actions and a $2 credit bonus (ColdIQ, 2026-06-19). Capterra's listing shows a $199 start price from a single review. We'd trust the docs, then confirm in the app before you budget.
What do Actions and Vendor Credits actually cost?
An Action is counted each time an agent runs a tool. Vendor Credits cover model and tool usage "at wholesale, with no markup" per the docs, and you can bring your own API keys to skip them. Extra Actions cost $80 per 1,000 and extra credits $20 per 10,000, both only on a paid plan.
The list prices hide how different the per-Action rate is. Our arithmetic from the published numbers, assuming you use every Action:
| Option | Cost per Action |
| Pro, annual ($19 for 2,500) | about $0.008 |
| Pro, monthly ($29 for 2,500) | about $0.012 |
| Team, annual ($234 for 7,000) | about $0.033 |
| Team, monthly ($349 for 7,000) | about $0.050 |
| Top-up ($80 for 1,000) | $0.08 |
So an overage costs roughly ten times Pro's annual rate. Add model usage on top, because the credits are a separate meter. 11x, a competitor, says the dual-meter billing makes costs hard to forecast and that overages are a frequent user complaint (11x). Read that with its interest in mind, but the meter design is the vendor's own.
What would outbound cost per lead on Relevance AI?
Nobody can quote your cost per lead without a pilot, because Relevance AI doesn't publish how many Actions a lead research flow uses. You can bracket it. If one lead needs 3, 6 or 12 tool runs (find company news, enrich, find an email, draft, log to CRM), this is how many leads each plan covers a month, before Vendor Credits. The 3, 6 and 12 are our assumptions, not vendor figures.
| Tool runs per lead | Leads on Pro (2,500 Actions) | Leads on Team (7,000 Actions) |
| 3 | 833 | 2,333 |
| 6 | 416 | 1,166 |
| 12 | 208 | 583 |
Worked example: you want 1,000 leads a month at 6 runs each, so 6,000 Actions. On Pro that's 2,500 included plus 4,000 bought as top-ups ($320), which is $339 a month on annual billing or $349 on monthly. Team costs $234 annual and already covers 7,000. Past roughly 3,000 Actions a month, Team is the cheaper plan, and you haven't paid for contact data yet. Our AI SDR ROI calculator lets you set your own volumes against this.
What do Relevance AI reviews say on G2 and Capterra?
G2 shows roughly 4.3 out of 5 from about 20 reviews, depending on the snapshot (one showed 4.2 from 19). Capterra and Software Advice each show 4.0 from a single review. We couldn't open G2 or Capterra directly because they block automated access, so the figures come from search extracts and may have moved. Twenty reviews is a thin base.
Themes that repeat across the G2 extracts and the competitor write-ups:
- Praise for building agents quickly in plain language, and for integration breadth.
- A steep curve for people who aren't comfortable with logic flows and variables.
- Cost listed as a con, and one 0-out-of-5 G2 review over a refused prorated refund on an annual plan.
- Confusing onboarding and docs that change often, per Salesforge's read of 50+ reviews, plus weak admin and governance controls and one flat list of agents with no folders (Salesforge).
Notice who wrote the long reviews. Salesforge, 11x, Reply, Artisan and ColdIQ all sell something that competes or earns them a commission. Their gaps are plausible and consistent with the vendor's own pages, but none is a neutral test. We found no real Reddit threads or Hacker News discussion on the product, and no reliable Trustpilot rating, so we're not reporting one.
Can Relevance AI work as an AI SDR?
Only if you assemble it yourself, on the evidence we saw. Competitor reviews say it has no built-in prospect database, no native LinkedIn automation and no integrated deliverability tooling, and that production-ready agents can take weeks (11x). The docs do list LinkedIn as a premium trigger, which is a different thing from sending LinkedIn outreach. Check with Relevance AI on what the Bosh agent includes.
The gap matters because delivery is where cold email dies. Google tells bulk senders to keep the spam rate in Postmaster Tools below 0.1% and never reach 0.3% (Google). An agent that researches well but sends from unwarmed inboxes can burn a domain. Our guides on AI cold email deliverability and human approval before sending cover the controls you'd need to add, and how AI SDRs personalise emails shows the research step in detail.
What does Relevance AI do well, and where does it fall short?
| Area | What the evidence says | Source |
| Flexibility | Unlimited agents, tools and workforces on paid plans; bring your own model keys | Vendor docs |
| Integrations | 2,000+ apps listed | Vendor docs |
| Security | SOC 2 and GDPR on all plans; SSO, RBAC and audit logs Enterprise only | Vendor docs |
| Cost predictability | Two meters; top-ups about 10 times Pro's annual rate | Vendor docs, our arithmetic |
| Ease of use | Quick to start, steep for complex logic | G2 extracts, Salesforge |
| Outbound data and sending | No built-in prospect data or deliverability tools | Competitor reviews (11x) |
| Refunds | No prorated annual refunds alleged; Check with Relevance AI | G2 reviewer |
Who should pick Relevance AI, and who should skip it?
Pick it if one person owns your automation, you want agents for lead research, support triage and CRM hygiene in one place, and you'll watch the Action counter. Skip it if you need booked meetings without a build project, or if a surprise overage would hurt.
A cheap test: start on Pro monthly at $29 rather than annual, build one narrow agent, and count the Actions it uses per lead over two weeks. Multiply by your volume and compare with the table above. Annual billing saves 33% but the refund complaints suggest you don't want to be locked in before you know your usage.
What are the alternatives to Relevance AI for outbound?
It depends on whether you want a builder or a finished tool. For builders, Lindy is the nearest comparison, with credit-based pricing and approval before outside actions. For finished outbound tools, you want data and sending included.
| Option | Best for | Price shown by vendor |
| Relevance AI | Custom agent building across teams | Pro from $19/month annual; Team from $234 (2026-10-28) |
| Lindy | Personal and small-team assistant work | Team from $49.99/month (checked 2026-10-25) |
| Explee | Pay-as-you-go AI outbound with a B2B database | $30 for 750 emails |
| Salesforge (Agent Frank) | Autonomous email and LinkedIn outbound | Check with Salesforge |
| Outbound Labs | Approval-first AI SDR with six agents | Growth $149/month, 5,000 emails; 750 emails free, no card |
Outbound Labs is in early access with a waitlist. Six agents (Researcher, Strategist, Prospector, Writer, Sender, Closer) split the work, you approve every campaign, and sending pauses automatically above a 2% bounce rate. Contact data comes from B2B data provider APIs and is billed by the provider. See the agents page, the AI SDR overview and AI SDR pricing, or start the free trial on your own list. A direct comparison with another vendor is on Outbound Labs vs Explee.
Frequently asked questions
Does Relevance AI have a free plan?
Not any more, according to its docs. They say the Free plan is retired for new signups and existing accounts, and point to Pro or Team. Several 2026 reviews still list a free tier with 200 Actions, so they are out of date.
What is an Action in Relevance AI?
An Action is counted when an agent runs a tool, whether that is sending one email or a bigger workflow, per the vendor's pricing docs. Plan Actions reset every renewal. Action top-ups carry over to the next billing cycle.
Can I bring my own AI model keys?
Yes. The docs list Bring Your Own API Keys on every paid plan, and say that doing so bypasses Vendor Credits. You then pay the model provider directly.
Does Relevance AI refund annual plans?
Check with Relevance AI. One G2 reviewer gave 0 out of 5 over a refused prorated refund, and other reviews repeat the complaint, but we haven't seen the company's refund policy stated on the pages we read.
Is Relevance AI SOC 2 compliant?
Its pricing docs list SOC 2 and GDPR compliance on every plan. SSO, role-based access and audit logs are Enterprise only.
